Highest Opening Partnership in IPL
Quinton de Kock and KL Rahul registered the highest opening partnership in IPL on 18th May 2022 against the Kolkata Knight Riders. Both the batsmen helped LSG reach 210 runs in 20 overs. This is also the third highest partnership in IPL.
Quinton de Kock smashed a brilliant hundred and scored runs with a strike rate of 200. He scored 140 runs off 70 balls with 10 sixes and 10 fours.
KL Rahul scored 68 runs off 51 balls with four sixes and 3 fours.
Both the batsmen played magnificently and created history by scoring the highest opening partnership in IPL of 210* runs. Lucknow won that match by 2 runs.
