The Indian Premier League 2024 will begin on March 22 when the defending champions, Chennai Super Kings will face Royal Challengers Bangalore in the tournament opener. BCCI has releades the IPL 2024 schedule for the first 21 mtaches.
The rest of the IPL 2024 schedule will be released after Government discloses the dates for the upcoming General Election in April 2024.
A total of 21 matches will be played in the period of March 22 and April 7. This schedule ensures that teams play atleast 3 matches during this period and a maximum of 10 matches across 10 different cities.
