New Zealand hasn’t really played much T20 after the 2021 World Cup. But they will be feeling pretty confident as they defeated West Indies away from home.

The New Zealand T20 World Cup squad looks pretty balance with the presence of several all-rounders. James Neesham, Daryl Mitchell, Mark Chapman, Mitchell Santner, and Michael Bracewell all have proved their mettle for New Zealand.

Kane Williamson will be captaining the side and is one of the three pure batsmen on the side. The other two are Martin Guptill and Glenn Phillips. The captain will be eager to help New Zealand become the T20 World Cup Winners for the first time.

Ish Sodhi and Mitchell Santner will be handling the spin department. With Tim Southee, Adam Milne, Trent Boult, and Lockie Ferguson as their fast bowlers, the bowling department looks pretty strong. Trent Boult was also third on the list of Most Wickets in T20 World Cup 2021.

I have been a fan of Cricket ever since I watched the 2002 NatWest Series Final on television. The memories of Dada's celebration, Zaheer's winning run, and Kaif's extraordinary inning are still vivid. I played the sport growing up, and I still do occasionally. I also enjoy it on the web or television. My passion for the game inspired me to start writing about it and I have been doing it since 2019. I hope readers will use my articles as a platform to discuss this beautiful sport we call "Cricket".
